Introducing our team specialized in Industrial and Intellectual Property matters.

The team has extensive experience in trademark and patent law, as well as in copyright and other copyright related matters. At the registry level, we comprehensively handle registration, surveillance, opposition and the conflicts arising therefrom, both at the administrative and judicial levels, including precautionary procedures and preliminary measures of cessation of use. All this allows them to efficiently face global challenges, both registral and business, in wide sectors of the industry. In addition, the team works jointly and in constant exchange with the TMT & Data Privacy sector to be able to provide comprehensive advice in these areas that have a very close relationship.

Both in not so current issues such as trademark or patent registration, as well as in the protection of new disruptive technologies, for example the development of software that may cover areas of Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain, our interdisciplinary team is ready to help companies from the point of view of both Argentine and foreign law.

Software licensing agreements, advice to companies that develop works for hire, the fight against piracy or claims for misuse of trademarks, are also part of our day-to-day work. A large part of their work consists of designing tailor-made practical and innovative solutions for each client and providing advice adapted to the contingencies that occur on a daily basis, offering strategic suggestions aimed at protecting technological assets, as well as preventing third parties from plagiarizing them. The professionals who make up the area provide companies with adequate advice on all the matters mentioned in order to help our clients do business with legal certainty.
