The Personal Data Protection Agency (“DNPDP”) issued Regulation Nº 44/2015, which provides for a simplified mechanism to report infringements to the National Registry “No Llame”.
The National Registry “No Llame” (created by Act Nº 26,951) is a nationwide registry which aims to protect people from unauthorized telephone advertising.
The new Regulation features a mechanism to file complaints through web and by phone call. Once the complaint is filed, the DNPDP issues a notice including the detail of the complaints received. The offenders could be sanctioned pursuant to Act Nº 25,326.
